Need help registering your child for school? We’ve got you covered! Join us this summer for a fun, supportive family event.

This event will also feature many local resources who are ready to support your family, both inside and outside of school.

Event Details

• Event Location: Houck Middle School, 1155 Connecticut St SE in Salem
• Date: Tuesday, July 15, 2025
• Time: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
• This event is FREE for all families in Salem-Keizer. All students must have an adult present to access summer activities.

This is a great opportunity to connect with our district, learn about resources and get ready for the school year. We hope to see you there!

Student Registration and Enrollment and So Much More

At the event, you will have access to:

• On-site registration and enrollment help
• Community resource booths
• Information about SKPS services to support your child this upcoming school year
• ParentSquare assistance
• Outdoor kid-friendly summer activities

This event is part of an effort to support families in accessing the online registration process while schools are closed for summer break. Remember–registering your child early helps to ensure they don't miss out on grade-level transition camps (kindergarten, 6th and 9th-grade) held each summer, and helps our schools plan for class assignments in the fall.
